I was born in Lewistown, MT in the spring of the year nineteen hundred and eighty-four. Just kidding. Well that's true but I'm not going to go into a long rendition of my entire life. After all who wants to hear about when I was four and, calling on my very refined hunting instincts, spotted the potiential Thanksgiving turkey. After what seemed like hours of calling, I proceeded to yell, "Dad, there's the turkey!" Sure, my Dad had seen the turkey for awhile and my yell only served to scare it away, but from what I remember we had a good time, and I am sure we had turkey at Thanksgiving, even if it was purchased from a grocery store.

Which brings me to my family in the much more present tense. I am blessed with an amazing family. I have one sister, Trisha, a photographer, I can say completely objectively that her work is extraordinary. Well, maybe I am a little biased but feel free to form your own opinion by visiting her website www.tkcphotography.net. My parents, Pat and Penni, have always been excellent and active parents. They live in Billings, MT where they recently celebrated their 28th anniversary. I am fortunate enough to have an exceptional extended family too, and you are fortunate because I am not going to drone on about all of them.

I guess I am down to it now, so here goes. I recently graduated from the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Commercial Aviation. I left high school just knowing that I wanted to become a commercial airline pilot. So with a great deal of help and sacrifice from my parents I enrolled in one of the best commercial aviation programs in the world, UND Aerospace. At the end of my junior year in commercial aviation I started to realize my interest in engineering. So at the start of my senior year I declared a second degree in Electrical Engineering and applied to be a flight instructor for the University. I was hired on as a university flight instructor and during the past three years I have focused on training flight students and completing my electrical engineering degree. So it has been a long road leading up to my recent graduation. I have enjoyed my time as a student and I am excited to move on and start my career.

I have numerous interests from engineering projects to back packing and helping my sister with her photography. To find out more about some of my interest or just to see a recording of me crashing my mountain bike check out the other categories at the top of this page.
